What does Forklift Tire Company sell?

Forklift Tire Company specializes in industrial tires, wheels, and complete replacement solutions for material handling and heavy equipment. We provide:

We help equipment owners and operators across the United States keep machines running — from a single forklift to entire fleet operations.

How do I know which forklift tire I need?

The fastest way is to check the size printed on your current tire sidewall. Common forklift tire size formats include:

  • Pneumatic / Resilient Solid: 6.00-9, 7.00-12, 8.25-15, 28x9-15
  • Cushion Press-On: 18x6x12-1/8, 21x7x15, 16x5x10-1/2
  • Polyurethane Press-On: 16x5x10-1/2, 13-1/2x5-1/2x8 (often by inside diameter)

If you are unsure, send us:

  • Your tire size (or a photo of the sidewall)
  • Your forklift make and model
  • Any photos of the tire or wheel

We’ll help match the correct size, construction, compound, and wheel configuration so you get the right tire the first time.

Text photos directly to (310) 341-4694 for faster assistance.

Always verify exact tire size and fitment before ordering.

What’s the difference between pneumatic and cushion forklift tires?

Pneumatic-type tires and cushion tires are designed for different forklift platforms and environments:

Pneumatic-Type Cushion (Press-On)
Wheel Type Split-rim or lockring Flat-base press-on wheel
Environment Outdoor, rough surfaces, mixed use Indoor, smooth warehouse floors
Construction Air-filled (tube-type) or solid resilient Solid rubber or polyurethane
Installation Pneumatic: hand tools + tire cage
Resilient solid: hydraulic press
Hydraulic press required
Flat-Proof? Pneumatic: No
Resilient solid: Yes
Yes

Pneumatic-type tires fit forklifts designed for outdoor or mixed indoor/outdoor environments. Within this category, you choose between pneumatic tube-type (air-filled, for cushioning on rough surfaces) and resilient solid (flat-proof, for uptime in puncture-prone areas).

Cushion tires are solid tires bonded to a steel band and pressed onto flat-base wheels using a hydraulic press. They are used on cushion forklifts with a tighter turning radius, built for smooth concrete floors. These include cushion rubber and polyurethane compounds.

If you’re unsure which type your forklift uses, send us your tire size or equipment details and we’ll confirm it. View our Forklift Tire Buying Guide →

Can I buy forklift tires already mounted on wheels?

Yes. We offer pre-mounted tire and wheel assemblies that arrive ready to bolt on — no on-site press equipment needed.

Tire and wheel assemblies are one of the fastest ways to reduce downtime because you skip the pressing step entirely. The resilient solid tire is already pressed onto the wheel at the factory, so installation is as simple as bolting the assembly onto the hub.

This is especially valuable for operations that don’t have access to a hydraulic press or need to minimize changeover time across multiple forklifts.

Do you offer bundled forklift tire sets?

Yes. We offer pre-bundled tire sets configured as 4-piece sets (2 drive tires + 2 steer tires) designed around common forklift size pairings.

Bundled sets help you:

  • Get the correct drive and steer combination in one order
  • Avoid ordering the wrong sizes or mixing tire types
  • Simplify full-machine replacement
  • Qualify for volume pricing automatically — save 15% on 4+ items

We offer bundled sets for cushion rubber, solid and pneumatic-type, aerial and scissor lift, telehandler, skid steer, and rubber track applications.

How long does delivery take?

Most orders arrive within 2–10 business days after processing. Orders are typically processed within 48 hours of placement.

Shipments go out via FedEx, UPS, or LTL freight depending on product size and weight. Larger items such as tire and wheel assemblies and bundled sets typically ship LTL freight to a commercial address.

For expedited shipping, residential delivery, lift gate service, or international orders, please contact us for a quote.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. All web orders include free ground freight to commercial addresses in the contiguous U.S.

Lift gate service is not included in free shipping. The receiving location must be able to unload the shipment. If you need lift gate delivery or residential shipping, contact us and we’ll provide a shipping quote.

What is your return policy?

New and unused products may be returned subject to up to a 30% restocking fee plus return freight costs. You must contact us before returning any items.

Non-returnable items include:

  • Custom-built wheels and wheel fabrication orders
  • Used or installed tires
  • Tires that have been pressed on or pressed off

View full details on our Return Policy page and always contact us before initiating a return.

Where can I get solid forklift tires installed?

Resilient solid tires, cushion rubber press-on tires, and polyurethane press-on tires all require a hydraulic press for installation. If you do not have access to press equipment, our mobile pressing and press-shop services can install your solid tires on-site or at a nearby facility.

Mobile tire pressing is currently available in the following areas:

Los Angeles, CA & surrounding areas Las Vegas, NV & surrounding areas Dallas & Waco, TX & surrounding areas Knoxville, TN & surrounding areas Miami, FL & surrounding areas

To schedule pressing, send us your forklift make, model, tire size, zip code, and photos of your current tires. You can text photos directly to (310) 341-4694 for faster assistance.

Don’t need a press? Consider pre-mounted tire and wheel assemblies that arrive ready to bolt on with no on-site press equipment needed. Pneumatic tube-type tires also install with standard hand tools and a tire cage — no press required.

Do you sell tires for other equipment besides forklifts?

Yes. In addition to forklifts, we supply tires and wheels for a range of material handling and construction equipment:

  • Scissor lifts and boom lifts — mold-on solid tires for Genie, JLG, Snorkel, and Skyjack
  • Telehandlers — pneumatic and aperture solid options
  • Skid steers — flat-proof solid tires for loaders and compact equipment
  • Rubber tracks — compact track loader (CTL) and mini excavator tracks
  • Load wheels — polyurethane replacement wheels for pallet jacks, reach trucks, and order pickers

If your machine isn’t listed, send us your equipment details and we’ll help source the correct replacement.

What forklift brands are your tires compatible with?

We supply tires and wheels commonly used on most major forklift brands, including:

Toyota • Hyster • Yale • Clark • Crown • Mitsubishi • Caterpillar • Komatsu • UniCarriers • Hyundai • Doosan

Forklift tires are selected by size and construction type, not by brand alone. The same tire size often fits multiple forklift makes and models. Always confirm your tire size or send us your equipment details for verification.

Always verify exact tire size and fitment before ordering.
