A polyurethane tire is measured by "overall diameter by width by inside diameter", resulting in a size like "21x7x15". This tire is 21 inches tall, 7 inches wide, and presses onto a 15 inch wheel diameter, resulting in about 5-5/8 inches of poly compound, accounting for the steel ring base. The polyurethane on this tire is naturally non-marking and has a higher durometer (hardness) than it's "cushion" rubber press-on counterpart. The poly compound allows for reduced rolling resistance and heat build up, making it ideal for electric forklifts working in clean applications. They are designed to withstand demanding conditions, making them an excellent choice for freezer applications, where stability and performance are crucial.
